The yard
PGZ Stocznia Wojenna in Gdynia is the central naval shipyard of the Polish Defence Holding Group (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa). It builds and overhauls military vessels for the Polish Navy and partner forces, the kind of programme where build documentation is reviewed at a level above commercial standards.
What military work demands
Naval construction is not just commercial work with a different paint scheme. Material specifications are tighter, traceability requirements are stricter (often back to mill heat number), welder qualifications must match the specific material grade and joint position, and NDT volume is significantly higher. Documentation review extends past classification societies to defence-procurement standards.
Our role
Hull-construction work delivered as a contributor on naval programmes at PGZ Stocznia Wojenna. The engagement is hands-on welding and structural work to military-spec documentation. Crews on this programme are pre-vetted; everything they touch is logged.
Strategic signal
Having PGZ Stocznia Wojenna on the partner list demonstrates that our welding and QA discipline meets the higher bar that naval procurement requires. That standard then carries back into every other engagement we run, which is the whole point of working with a customer like this.
