Naval-spec hulls
Steel hull construction to TKMS and other German naval customer requirements. Material, traceability and NDT documented at defence-acceptance level.
Yard · Kiel
Hull construction and structural work for German naval programmes in Kiel. Our experience at PGZ Stocznia Wojenna in Gdynia provides a ready template for defence-spec documentation.
About this location
Kiel is the centre of German naval shipbuilding. ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS), successor to HDW, builds submarines, frigates and specialised vessels here for the Bundeswehr, Navy and allied forces. All these programmes operate to specifications above commercial standards: tight material control, traceability to mill heat number, documentation aligned with defence-procurement acceptance.
For RS Marine, Kiel is a natural extension of the experience we run at PGZ Stocznia Wojenna in Gdynia since 2018. The documentation template, crew screening and NDT discipline are similar, which significantly shortens ramp-up on a new naval programme.
What we do here
Steel hull construction to TKMS and other German naval customer requirements. Material, traceability and NDT documented at defence-acceptance level.
Active engagement at PGZ Stocznia Wojenna in Gdynia since 2018. The documentation template and QA discipline transfer directly.
Crews on military programmes are pre-vetted, this is a standard part of our mobilisation, not an add-on requirement.
Structural intervention on naval vessels, life extension or scope-extension of the platform.
Yards and partners
Kiel naval programmes require both documentation discipline and a vetted crew. We have both. Send the scope, ideally with classification regime and screening requirements, and we respond with an engagement plan.
