Hull sections
Hull-section construction for Neptun Werft programmes and other yards in the cluster, to project documentation.
Yard · Rostock
Hull construction and structural steel work at Rostock, Warnemünde and Wismar yards. From Gdynia to Rostock is a direct Baltic transit, which simplifies material logistics and crew mobilisation.
About this location
Rostock, together with neighbouring Warnemünde and Wismar on the western Baltic coast, forms one of Germany's most significant shipbuilding clusters. Neptun Werft (part of Meyer Werft) builds passenger-vessel hull sections. The NVL cluster, emerging from the former MV Werften assets, maintains repair and construction capacity for large vessels. All these sites work to IACS/DNV/LR documentation standards.
RS Marine reaches Rostock directly from Gdynia, Baltic logistics is simpler than for Hamburg or Bremen. This makes Rostock a natural target for our cross-border crews on medium-size programmes and mobile-repair scope.
