Hull construction and structural steel work at the Hamburg yards. We operate primarily through the Muehlhan Polska partnership, headquartered in Hamburg, and mobilise crews to partner facilities at Blohm+Voss and Lürssen.
About this location
Hamburg is the historical and current centre of German shipbuilding. Along the Elbe and in the harbour basins operate Blohm+Voss (mega-yachts, naval vessels, refits), Lürssen (luxury superyachts and warships), and a network of specialist yards and Muehlhan Group contractors. Hamburg is also the headquarters of Muehlhan, our principal operating partner in Germany.
RS Marine works in Hamburg as a sub-contractor under the Muehlhan Polska partnership since 2024. Our crews mobilise from Gdynia with their own equipment, tools and qualification documentation aligned to German yard QA expectations.

Deployment via Muehlhan Polska
Most of our Hamburg footprint runs through the Muehlhan Polska partnership. Operationally this means ready logistics templates, accepted German-yard QA documentation and a proven mobilisation schedule.

Mega-yacht and naval work
Hamburg builds both superyachts (Lürssen, Blohm+Voss) and naval vessels. Our IACS welders are qualified for either segment, with the joint-position and material-grade coverage to match.

Mobile-repair in harbour basins
Beyond hull construction we deliver mobile-repair service in Hamburg's harbour basins, for vessels that cannot transit to Gdynia.
